About Kelly

Kelly discovered a deep passion for yoga after taking her first class many years ago. She completed her 200-hour Hatha Yoga teacher training in 2011 and a Vinyasa Flow advanced study with Seane Corn shortly thereafter. Kelly teaches Vinyasa and Hatha Flow style classes that cultivate grace, freedom and fun while exploring the powerful connection between the mind, body and heart. She is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance.

In addition to sharing her love of yoga with others, Kelly is a freelance graphic designer and full-time mama to a sweet and spry little boy.

Hatha Flow & Vinyasa Styles

Both Hatha Flow and Vinyasa styles of Yoga use the same postures (asanas) as a regular Hatha class, but the postures are linked together in a flowing sequence of movements that synchronize with the breath to create a strong cardiovascular practice. A typical Hatha Flow class will include several sun salutations to warm the body and then a sequence of postures flowing from one to the other with longer holds; familiarity with the basics of Hatha Yoga is recommended. A typical Vinyasa class is similar to Hatha Flow, but will also include more sun salutations (often one between each posture), be offered at a slightly faster pace, and include more advanced options of arm balances and inversions; familiarity with the basics of Hatha Flow is recommended.
